This multi-faceted health initiative provided free health services to hundreds of participants from the area, ensuring access to essential medical care for all. Key services offered during the camp included:
-
Vision screening and free distribution of spectacles
-
Dispensing of essential medicines at no cost
-
On-site registration counter for National Identity Card (NIC) applications
-
Rabies vaccination clinic for dogs, supporting public and animal health
The event was made possible through the invaluable support of doctors, health care professionals, government officers, and volunteers, who generously contributed their time, expertise, and resources. Their compassionate service played a crucial role in making this health camp a true success.
The Association also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Mahawiharaya Temple for providing the venue and spiritual support, as well as to the executive members of the Association and all individuals and organizations who contributed toward this noble cause.
This initiative reflects the Association’s strong commitment not only to economic and industrial development, but also to the health and well-being of the Wadduwa community. Events like this embody the values of service, unity, and social responsibility, which continue to guide the Association’s mission.
